Job Title: Marine/Offshore Structural Engineer 

Location: Cochin/Mumbai

Job Summary: Global Maritime Consultants Group (GMCG) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine/Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in Cochin. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing feasibility studies, front-end engineering design (FEED), and detailed engineering projects for fixed platform offshore and other marine structures. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who can work independently and communicate effectively with clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and execute feasibility studies, FEED, and detailed engineering projects for fixed platform and offshore structures. 
• Develop and review structural calculations, design and construction drawings, and specifications using software such as STAAD, SACS and ANSYS. 
• Conduct structural analysis and design, including fatigue and fracture analysis. 
• Collaborate with other engineers and technical disciplines to develop integrated solutions. 
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. 
• Develop project schedules and budgets and monitor progress against targets. 
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical/ Marine/ Structural Engineering or a related field.  A Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in fixed platform offshore and marine structures design and engineering. 
• Experience in feasibility studies, FEED, and detailed engineering projects. 
• Strong understanding of structural calculations, design drawings, and specifications using software such as CAD, STAAD, SACS and ANSYS. 
• Experience with structural analysis and design, including fatigue and fracture analysis as per Class rules and standard codes.
• Excellent communication and project leadership skills. 
• Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Experience in fabrication, working offshore or in remote locations is an asset.
