Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Offshore Pipeline Engineer with 6-7 years of expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of offshore pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and practical experience in offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Design & Analysis: Develop and review pipeline designs, including route selection, layout, and structural analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Project Management: Oversee pipeline installation projects from planning to execution, including coordinating with contractors, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to budget and safety standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical support for pipeline construction, inspection, and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pipeline engineering activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and specifications related to pipeline projects. Maintain detailed records of engineering processes and modifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, environmental specialists, and construction teams, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to ensure the integrity and performance of pipeline systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, API) is a plus.
• Experience: 6-7 years of experience in offshore pipeline engineering, including hands-on experience with pipeline design, installation, and maintenance.
• Skills: Proficiency in pipeline engineering software (e.g., CAESAR II, OLGA, AutoCAD), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of offshore pipeline standards, regulations, and best practices.
