Business Development Sales Manager

Job Title: BD Sales Manager (Mumbai)
Location: Mumbai, India
Company Overview:
GMCG India is part of the global GMCG group, specializing in maritime and consultancy services. We aim to expand our presence in India and seek a dynamic professional to lead our business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets in India.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and manage existing accounts.
  • Represent GMCG India in industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions using GMCG’s expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Ideally a Master Mariner or equivalent maritime industry knowledge.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development and sales within the maritime, offshore, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Pleasant personality with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
