We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Limassol.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review company’s financial data for accuracy and validity. Responsible for ensuring organizations adhere to statutory reporting requirements and internal policies.
Implements, monitors, and measures the adequacy of control systems in the company in compliance with regulations and internal control framework. Perform internal audits.
Coordinates payments to suppliers, maintains receivables, and reconciles financial records.
Prepares weekly and monthly financial reports. Generates ad-hoc reports and provides reports to management.
Oversees documentation for and supports year-end or interim audits.
Provides support for accountants and external departments in general accounting and related functional areas.
Responsible for managing the sales orders, invoices, and collection efforts with clients and inter-offices.
Processes receipts, sales invoices, and payments. Prepares quotes for clients in the CRM software system.
Performs international payments through online banking. Records all accounting documents at the official accounting software as per International Financial Reporting Standards.
Prepares monthly bank and other reconciliations.
REQUIREMENTS – SKILLS:
Degree in Financial and Accounting Science.
Holder of LCCI accounting Higher.
Fluency in English
Russian and/or French speaking considered an advantage.
Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant position.
Flexible to travel.
